After Folkes cancelled & rescheduled my appointments two times, I, finally, had the pleasure of meeting technician Scott Yasko. So professional, diligent, respectful of my home. I really appreciated that he did not try to sell unnecessary equipment as technicians in the past have done. I hope I can have Scott service my air conditioner in the future.

This is to repair a small section of 1/2 in pipe Folkes arrived on 01/17/2022 for a leaking in the closet. Upon arrival customer showed me where the leak was it was coming from a cap. I then cut a section of pipe out and re connected the section. After the pipe was replaced I then turned the water back on and checked for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. I then thanked the customer for choosing folkes and left.

The customer had another company out that determined the CTCO was bad and needed to be replaced. Went through the air handler and came to the same conclusion. We will need to order the part and give the customer pricing and availability. Had 12 flashes for EHC has detected a fault. Then the EHC board had a 5 flash fault for the CTCO open. This is a cycling limit for the system.

Installed oil fired boiler with Beckett burner and tankless hot water coil. All new components required by boiler installation, pipping and wiring as needed for a 5 zone valve system.

Bled oil line and fired system. Found system smoking badly from side of boiler and CO readings excessive. Turned unit off and comfort advisor is coming for estimate on replacement.

Customer had run out of oil for home, will have a oil delivery tomorrow. Saw smoke downstairs around boiler earlier and fire department shut him down, opened access panel on boiler to make sure boiler wasn’t sooted up which it’s not sooted up just dirty and does need a cleaning, customer will get some diesel for tank to get them heat tonight also customer will put a CO detector near boiler just to be safe, couldn’t fire system due to system out of oil.

This is to replace the current water heater with a new 50 gal electric hot water heater. We will remove the old water heater and pan and replace it with a new one Folkes arrived on 01/06/2022 to replace the 50 gal electric hot water heater. Upon arrival I turned the water off to the house and drained out the old water heater. Once the heater was drained i cut it out and removed it. I replaced the shut off valves and began to connect the new water heater. I then filled the new water heater up and connected it. Once it was full I turned the power on and checked for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. The heater is starting to heat up. I then thanked the customer for choosing folkes and left.

Folkes arrived on 01/05/2022 for a leaking water heater. It is leaking from the bottom element. I let the customer know that they should replace the water heater with a different one. The customer agreed to replace it. We will return tomorrow to replace the water heater with a new one. I then thanked the customer for choosing folkes and left.

Re checked purge valve that was leaking. No further leaking found. Programmed new primary control. Control was locked out on arrival. Reset burner and it locked out again found no oil to burner. Measured oil in tank. Found only 3” of oil in bottom of tank. Called owner and told him to call for delivery. Also told customer to let oil supplier to bleed air from oil line.

Arrive to customers house for a no heat call, notice pro press fitting was leaking all over primary control and the rest of the burner, tighten packing nut On pro press fittings, replaced primary, Cadcell eye, burner blower motor , Primary control was still reaching 3000 omes and smoke coming from burner chamber, check burner chamber for wetness was dry

Service for Bosch Brand Under sink hot water heater installation. Old unit removed and new unit installed. New unit installed at a lower height on basement wall at customers requests. All water lines checked. Unit working properly at completion of installation. Payment received.

Arrived for for plumbing inspection 12/21/21 Mostly everything was found to be in working order aside from the kitchen sink which is leaking from the cartridge. Underneath the sink there are old corroded gate valves which I suggested should be replaced. There is the dishwasher gate valve that is completely seized up and will not turn. Dishwasher hose is currently hooked up to just the pipe alone with no shut off attached to it. In the upstairs bathroom both faucets are also leaking from the cartridge. These issues were brought to the customers attention and are now aware of it. At this time the inspection has been completed and signatures have been collected.

Service for no water arrived to home to find that customer had no water ohlmed out pump to find pump shorted. Customer explained that pump was only 6 months old. She explained how she just had it installed and that it would be covered but this company she called for original installation couldn’t come out today only tomorrow. Explained to customer how we would have to return tomorrow also due to the fact of not having the material to complete job. Gave customer estimate and she is gunna call me if she can’t get other company. Customer is satisfied with service.

The customer stated no heat on the second floor. Turned the system on and found that it started no problem. I did see a little flame rollout upon start up. The system ran for 4 minutes and shut down for a flame sensor error. When I pulled the flame sensor out it was black, opened the burner and found that the two top burners were black and Sooted. The heat exchanger is plugged on the two passage ways of this furnace. Left the system off while I was here. Explained to the customer the issue and made him aware he needs a new furnace (LP) gas. The customer is going to speak with a home warranty company first and then give us a call for an estimate. He does not want to set up an estimate right now until he calls the home warranty company.

Found heat not operating upon arrival. Found igniter assembly heavily charred. Replaced igniter assembly and tested operation. System was cycling on and off. Tapped on gas valve and burners turned off. Tapped on gas valve again and the burners went back on. Found gas valve intermittently failing. Replaced and tested complete operation. Let house get to set temp and ensured system turned off , then raised temp and made sure system came back on. Set propane pressure to 10.5 inh20. No further issues to report at this time.
